She walked onto the American Idol audtion stage and proudly proclaimed that she couldn't sing. But the show could teach her. That was the train wreck known as Sarah Goldberg. Here's the rest of the story from BlogCritics.org:
Where do I begin with Sarah Goldberg? She seems perfectly normal when we first see her. She's cute in her red cowboy hat and looks a little like Natalie Portman. She sings Selena's "Dreaming of You", and it's a complete mess. Not a single note is on key. Carole asks Sarah if she truly believes she can sing, and Sarah admits that she knew perfectly well that she can't. Screaming like a wild banshee, Sarah then claims that she would be a unique Idol because she can't sing! WTF? It's like she's using the Chewbacca Defense! The judges kindly remind Sarah that American Idol is a singing competition and that they're looking for singers, and send her on her way. Outside, Sarah launches into full batshit crazy mode by screaming to everyone within earshot how mean the judges were to her (which they totally weren't), and how rude it was for the judges to go out drinking last night. I so wish that Simon was there at the time, so he could tear her a new one.

It's the Super Bowl commercial that's famous even BEFORE it airs during the game. The former Mr. Britney Spears--Kevin Federline--is shown as a successful rap star singing in a music video with all the trimmings: girls, jewelry, cars, you name it. Then suddenly, his boss at the fast food restaurant yells at him and we're back to reality. The kind of reality that the National Restaurant Association thinks negatively portrays all the hard working people in the food service business. Whatever, dog. It's still funny as hell.

Rosie O'Donnell is calling for the impeachment of President George W. Bush.
In a statement to her ABC audience on "The View" Rosie said, “We've given you [Bush] 4 years and 3,000 American lives, enough sir.”
The comment's came after President Bush's State of the Union Address Monday night caused a heated debate on the set of "The View."
Rosie went further to say, “You know what I think the Congress should do, and I'm sure this will make me in some sort of celebrity feud or AOL poll, but someone, I believe, should call for the impeachment of George W. Bush, to let the world know.”

Kidman, 39, was examined at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and then released a short time later. Paramedics were called to examine Kidman for injuries before she was taken to the hospital, police said.

T.R. Knight Responds to Co-Star's Slur
T.R. Knight, who plays the lovable George on Grey's Anatomy, came out in October when it was allegedly exposed that his co-star, Isaiah Washington, called him the f-word in reference to Knight's sexual orientation. Britney Spears seems to be everywhere lately, except for the place that made her famous...no, not 7-Eleven. Earlier this week, someone supposedly leaked a track from Britney Spears' CD in progress called "Fed-Up" on youtube.com. It became one of the most popular videos on the site but Brit and her people claim that the song, a peppy track about the breakup of her marriage, is not her at all. According to Foxnews.com
"Fed-Up" is an angry missive dedicated, it would appear, to her soon-to-be ex-husband:

Ice Storm Causes Real Bumper Cars in Portland
Winter hit hard in the Northwest and lots of ice and snow followed. Too bad many people didn't heed the advice of the Oregon Department of Transportation when they advised not going out on the super icy roads unless absolutely necessary. Here's the story from NCNW and KGW.com
In Portland, a firetruck was responding to a six-car pileup and got struck by a sliding car at SW 21st and Salmon. No one was injured but the accident blocked the roadway. One resident heard crunching outside his apartment and witnessed about 15 car accidents at the intersection, many of which he captured on home video.

Well, that might have worked if there was only one tape to watch, but what about this second interview with KTVU in San Francisco? Expletive Shirt Shown at Saints--Eagles Game
With all of the commotion following the infamous 'wardrobe malfunction' one would think that broadcast TV would be a little more careful about what they show live, especially during a football game. This Saturday night was the highly anticipated match up between the New Orleans Saints and the Philadelphia Eagles. The Saints came out victorious and their fans came out swinging. This clip shows a sassy Saints fan who had a shirt with a non-TV friendly message, but being cute, she got on TV. Oops.

Video of American Idol Judge Paula Abdul Doing Interview, Slurs Words, Was She Drunk?
There have been reports of her behaving oddly in the past, but this lengthy video sure makes the case that former pop star Paula Abdul has some kind of problem. This story is from Reuters:
"American Idol" judge Paula Abdul canceled media interviews on Friday as an online video emerged of the television star slurring and gesticulating her way through a TV interview a day earlier.
Some viewers of the footage posted on the popular online video site YouTube.com suggested she should head into rehab because it appeared she had been drinking.
But Abdul's spokesman, Jeff Ballard, denied that was under the influence of alcohol or on some kind of medication and said the U.S. performer never drank.

Video of Virginia Teacher, Stephen Murmer, Fired For "Butt Painting" -
He tried to hide his identity, even as his fame as a "painter" grew. But eventually YouTube caught up to Stephen Murmer. The high school art teacher at Monacan High School in Virginia was also an "abstract" artist called "Stan Murmur" who painted pictures by smearing paint on buttocks and genitals and pressing them against canvas. He was able to keep that quiet until an interview with his alter-ego found its way onto YouTube.com. Despite the fact that he tried to hide his identity with a towel on his head and Groucho Marx glasses, the jig was up and he was placed on administrative leave. Now the Chesterfield County School Board voted unanimously to fire Murmer saying that "teachers are expected to set an example for students through their personal conduct," and apparently painting with your butt does not meet that standard. Instead, they say, one of their sons got a punch on the head from the loveable Winnie the Pooh character, Tigger. How was your New Years Eve? Too bad you weren't in Japan. This story comes to us from the New Zealand Herald:
A troupe of dancers in skin-coloured body suits had Japanese national broadcaster NHK apologising to viewers of its New Year's Eve music special for what seemed to be a full-scale Janet Jackson-style wardrobe malfunction.It's a couple of minutes in to this 5 minute clip, but well worth it.
The dancers, who all appeared to be topless and wore skimpy bikini-style bottoms and feathered head-dresses, covered the stage during a performance by singer DJ OZMA, prompting about 250 viewers to phone in and complain.
"The dancers were wearing body suits, but we apologise for any misunderstanding," a presenter announced towards the end of the 57th annual Red and White Song Contest.
"I guess it looked a bit too real," local media quoted the singer as telling reporters after the show, which regularly tops viewer ratings on New Year's Eve in Japan.
