NYC Officer Patrick Pogan Stripped of Badge and Gun After Tackling Bicyclist During Time Square Demonstration

New York City Officer Patrick Pogan has some explaining to do! In this video, the 22 year old officer is shown body checking bicyclist Christopher Long during a protest in Times Square called the Critical Mass Ride. To add insult to injury, Long was arrested right after being hit off his bike for attempted assault in the third degree, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. The officer claims that Long purposely swerved his bicycle to block traffic and then using it as a weapon to run down the officer, knocking him off his feet and causing a "laceration" on his forearm.
