Public Kiss That Got Richard Gere Burned in Effigy in India - Kissing Shilpa Shetty
Actor Richard Gere really pissed off some people in India for kissing actress Shilpa Shetty--repeatedly--at an AIDS Awareness rally. Here's more from ShortNews.com:Hollywood actor Richard Gere has caused a furore in India after he repeatedly kissed actress Shilpa Shetty on the cheek during a benefits event to promote AIDS awareness. The embrace was shown all over Indian television on Monday.
Many in India saw the embrace -- which saw Gere sweep Shetty up, "dip" her and place several small kisses on her cheek -- as insulting to Shetty's modesty and to India's culture. There have been calls for Gere's death from some of the protestors.
Shetty has dismissed the reaction, and said it makes India look "regressive". Defending Gere, Shetty said: "He did not do anything obscene. He apologized to me and told me to tell the media that he apologized."Labels: aids, Kiss, richard gere, shilpa shetty

Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston Kiss on FX's Show Dirt
Here it is ladies and gentlemen, well probably more for the gents, the lesbian kiss they've been hyping up for weeks. Former Friends stars Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston appeared together on Courteney's new show Dirt on FX. Ever since Jen announced she was going to have a cameo on the show, and one that would involve a kiss between the two, fans have been drooling in anticipation. Critics say it was over-hyped but you'll just have to judge for yourself.
