AND HERE'S OUR REPLY:Dear Marci:
Thanks for contacting us at YouGottaSeeThisVideo about the Sarah Palin clip. My name is Bob Reno and I publish the site along with several others you may have heard of including BadJocks.com and DumbassDaily.com.
Interesting thing about that clip: we were linking to it from YouTube.com, so your complaint is really with them at this point, although it's kind of a moot point as they have already pulled it. So our post does not contain the video clip anymore, just our description of it, which I think we can keep in place, but I will check with my Internet lawyer if you'd like.
Just a side note: how exactly is this violating your copyright? Yeah, I know technically you own the rights to it, but really, it's not like you're going to keep showing it every night during the campaign like a "Seinfeld" rerun or use it on a regular basis if Mrs. Palin gets elected. It'll just sit in your archives gathering dust. Your station is more famous for that clip now than you can possibly know and you want bloggers to pull it? You can't buy PR like that, but I guess as Senior Vice President, that one is your call.
Please acknowledge receipt of this message so I know that you know that we have complied with your request.

EARLIER POST: Governor Sarah Palin has an interesting background, including a stint as a sports reporter on Channel 2 in Alaska in the late 1980's. Here's a clip of her with her big 'ole 80's hair talking about basketball, baseball, and doncha know, dog sledding. Yeah, she's totally qualified for the White House.
VIDEO CLIP PULLED ON REQUEST OF THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER, SCHURZ COMMUNICATIONS, THE PARENT COMPANY OF KTUU.
Although . . . you never know: you might be able to find another copy of it at YouTube if you look hard.

Republican Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin Accepts Nomination
Governor Sarah Palin pulled out all the stops last night as she fought to return energy to the GOP. It looks like they make them feisty as she went on attack mode on Barack Obama and the democratic party in general. Looks like the next 60 days are going to be an all out cat fight to the end.

Mitt Romney Gets Into Argument with AP Reporter at Staples
It looks like Mitt Romney celebrated his recent Michigan primary win by talking with people at a Staples office supply store in South Carolina. He talked about how he doesn't have lobbyist running his campaign and an AP reported tried to refute that claim during the conference. Romney became very agitated and his people ended the press conference abruptly but Romney went into the press area and continued to argue with the reporter. Politics is getting ugly people!
