NYC Officer Patrick Pogan Stripped of Badge and Gun After Tackling Bicyclist During Time Square Demonstration
New York City Officer Patrick Pogan has some explaining to do! In this video, the 22 year old officer is shown body checking bicyclist Christopher Long during a protest in Times Square called the Critical Mass Ride. To add insult to injury, Long was arrested right after being hit off his bike for attempted assault in the third degree, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. The officer claims that Long purposely swerved his bicycle to block traffic and then using it as a weapon to run down the officer, knocking him off his feet and causing a "laceration" on his forearm. Hmm...that's not what it looks like here. Take a look for yourself.

Raw Video of Fight Between Minor League Baseball Teams Peoria Chiefs and Dayton Dragons--Pitcher Arrested For Injuring Fan
The Minor League Baseball teams of the Peoria Chiefs and the Dayton Dragons are brawling at the Major League level. Julio Castillo, a pitcher for the Peoria Chiefs of was charged on a felony assault charge after throwing a baseball into the stands and hitting a fan during a wild brawl Thursday night. According to the Dayton Daily News, Castillo appeared to be trying to hit a Dayton player in the dugout. However, he must not have had great accuracy as he missed struck a fan, who had to be hospitalized. Aren't Minor League games supposed to be where you can take Granny and the little ones for a squeaky clean (and cheap) baseball game?

Driver Registers a 'Comatose' .491 During Breathalyzer for DUI
Lincoln, Rhode Island may now be home to the man with the highest Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) ever recorded. Stanley Kobierowski was arrested early Tuesday after he drove his car into a highway message board on Interstate 95 in Providence. Oh dear Stan. He sustained minor injuries from the crash but is lucky to be alive with a BAC of six times the legal limit. He is a drinking freak of nature.

Passed-Out Dad Caught Behind the Wheel With Toddlers In Car - "Dave, They Are Taking the Kids!"
"Father of the Year" Finalist, anyone? Oh yeah, when you are so drunk that you pass out once you somehow get yourself, your also drunk buddy and your three little kids to the gas station, that says something. And it makes for a great police video, as well, because for some reason, they don't look kindly at drunk driving, much less DUI with small children in the vehicle. The video is below, but here's more on the story from WFTV:David Novick, his friend and Novick's three kids managed to get to the gas station safe and sound, driving a couple blocks from his home down SR-50. He went there to buy cigarettes and passed out with his children, all under five years old, in the car.
Novick never saw the police coming. The 37-year-old Titusville man was out cold when they showed up. His three children were unbuckled in the back seat of the parked car. Police questioned whether there was something more than alcohol involved.
The single father was so out of it, not police, not a slap in the face and not even police removing his children could get him to wake up.
"Dave, they are taking the kids," Novick's friend told the passed-out dad.
When he finally did get out of the car, police said Novick failed a sobriety test and a breathalyzer indicated he had a blood alcohol level of .152, nearly twice the legal limit. He was arrested and charged with DUI, driving with a license suspended and, because there were three children in the car, three counts of child neglect.Labels: arrested, drunk, father of the year

Georgia Judge Caught Drunk Driving
Ooo looks like judges aren't above the law, even if you are a judge in Georgia. This police dash camera catches the discussion between deputies and the allegedly intoxicated Chattooga County judge Carlton Vines. He refuses to take sobriety test but he looks like he might be 3 sheets to the wind anyways. It's a good time had by all.

Child Abuse at Car Wash? Mom Sprays 2 year-old Daughter with Hose at Car Wash
This horrifying video appears to show a mom and another woman drive into a car wash and hose her 2 year-old daughter with a high pressure hose after apparently throwing a temper tantrum. The Florida woman has been arrested and charged with felony child abuse.

Teens Arrested for Punching 61-Year-Old Teacher, Recording it on Cell Phone - Murphy High School
What is the world coming to when two teenaged boys feel the need to not only sucker punch an elderly female teacher, but film their attack for posterity? It happened this week at Murphy High School and unfortunately for 16 year old Randolph Parker and 17 year old Dominick Harris it was also caught on the school's security camera. Here's more from WKRG:The brutal attack of a Murphy High School teacher is caught on tape, and News 5 has obtained a copy of the video.
Prosecutors showed the tape during a bond hearing Thursday.
Investigators say 16 year old Randolph Parker punched his teacher in the face, while 17 year old Dominick Harris filmed the attack on his cell phone.
Melinda Rudisill, 61, was rushed to the hospital where she received 20 stitches. Investigators tell News 5 Parker may have used brass knuckles during the attack.
Captain J.E. Dove of the Mobile Police Department testified at the hearing. Dove showed two pictures taken about a week after the attack. Dove says the pictures show a freshly painted gang symbol outside Parker's home.
"He's advertising he's got juice in the gang," said Dove. "In my expert opinion he's bragging cause he did this to a teacher."
Parker's bond is set at $250,000, while bond for Harris is $100,000.
Carolina Siderius, a prosecutor in the case, hopes that will keep the teens behind bars.
"It's high enough that hopefully they won't get out of jail anytime soon," said Siderius.
Harris' family attempted to storm out of the courtroom after bond was set, but bailiffs forced them to sit back down. One family member was held in contempt for swearing at an officer.Labels: arrested, gangs, teachers

Cops Use Taser Inside Station on Woman Arrested for Drunk Driving
Not a lot of details about this story, but apparently the Sheffield Village police stopped this woman for drunk driving and got her back to the station to book her when she started getting a little beligerant . . . so they tasered her.
