Bench Clearing High School Baseball Brawl Between Boerne High School and New Braunfels Canyon High School
They may be minors but they fight like adults! This fight took place this spring in Texas as the high school players of New Braunfels Canyon High School and Boerne High School got into a little brawl after a kid sliding into home gets his nose broken when the catcher throws his mask on the ground. Then all hell breaks lose!

Raw Video of Fight Between Minor League Baseball Teams Peoria Chiefs and Dayton Dragons--Pitcher Arrested For Injuring Fan
The Minor League Baseball teams of the Peoria Chiefs and the Dayton Dragons are brawling at the Major League level. Julio Castillo, a pitcher for the Peoria Chiefs of was charged on a felony assault charge after throwing a baseball into the stands and hitting a fan during a wild brawl Thursday night. According to the Dayton Daily News, Castillo appeared to be trying to hit a Dayton player in the dugout. However, he must not have had great accuracy as he missed struck a fan, who had to be hospitalized. Aren't Minor League games supposed to be where you can take Granny and the little ones for a squeaky clean (and cheap) baseball game?

Little Girl Runs Away From President Bush Giving Her a Baseball After T-Ball Game
This little girl appears to be as afraid of the President of the United States as most kids are afraid of the boogeyman. As the Prez tried to give a baseball to her, she doesn't just shy away, she runs and cries in the opposite direction and off the field into what looks like the parking lot. Yikes. Maybe he shouldn't have worn a suite made of puppies.

It seems like microphones seem to be picking up lots of interesting things lately. Chase Utley of the Philadelphia Phillies is not well liked in New York where the All Star Games and Home Run Derby are taking place. He was immediately greeted with boos as he stepped on the filed. Red Sox and Rays Get Into Massive Brawl
We normally think that hockey is the sport for big fights but Friday's game between the Red Sox and the Rays erupted when Boston's Coco Crisp was hit on the hip in a second-inning pitch from James Shields. Then fists started flying and teammates got involved. It's hard to tell who won the fight. Thoughts?

President Bush is Booed at 2008 Opening Day for D.C. Nationals
This doesn't come as a surprise to us but it's still funny. President Bush was asked to throw out the first pitch for the home team, the D.C. Nationals on their opening day. Too bad that he is hovering at a 30% approval rating and it seemed much much lower at this stadium as he was booed as soon as he stepped on the field. Yikes.

Big Guy Falls From Stands at Seattle--Cleveland Game Trying to Catch Foul Ball
If you are a pretty hefty guy at a baseball game, you may wanna hesitate before diving for a foul ball. A big guy in the stands at the Seattle--Cleveland game reached for a fly ball and went head first over railing and on to the field. It also appears he was wearing a giant clown wig. It doesn't get much classier than that.

Padres Chris Young Hits Cubs Derrek Lee With a Pitch, Brawl Ensues
Another baseball game, another Cubs brawl, but at least this time it wasn't amongst themselves, but with the opposing team. Here's more from the Beacon Journal:Cubs first baseman Derrek Lee swung at San Diego pitcher Chris Young after he was hit by a pitch in the fourth inning Saturday, setting off a benches-clearing skirmish between the teams.
The two players were ejected, as were Padres pitcher Jake Peavy and Cubs hitting coach Gerald Perry.
Young hit Lee in the back of the upper left arm with the pitch, knocking him to the ground. Lee got up, walked by Young on the way to first, then said something to the 6-foot-10, 260-pound right-hander.
After the pitcher apparently responded, Lee threw a punch that didn't land. Young tried to throw a punch back that missed. Then he and Lee tried to connect at the same time.
By that time both benches had emptied, resulting in pushing, shoving and holding in a scrum as several players fell to the ground before order was restored.

Chicago Cubs Brawl in Dugout - Carlos Zambrano & Michael Barrett
There was a brawl during the Cubs game Friday, but it didn't clear the benches. Why? It was the Cubs fighting themselves, that's why! Here's more from Inside the Bay Area:Chicago Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano and catcher Michael Barrett shoved each other in the dugout Friday, then got into it again in the clubhouse, and Barrett wound up going to a hospital.
The confrontations in the 8-5 loss to Atlanta came after the Braves had just scored five runs in the top of the fifth to make it 7-1. With runners on first and second during the rally, Barrett allowed a passed ball and threw wildly to third for an error that let a run score.
The two confronted each other before the bottom half of the inning but were separated, and Zambrano was sent to the clubhouse by manager Lou Piniella. Barrett went to the clubhouse and wound up with a split lip that was treated at a hospital.

The Braves are a minor league team, but this was a major league rant.
Wellman threw his hat and one of the bases. He also covered home plate in dirt and crawled around the field. Near the mound, Wellman picked up the rosin bag, pretended to bite the top off of it and threw it as if it were a grenade.
