Soccer Player Wilfred Bouma Suffers Ankle Injury in Aston Villa Game Against Odense BK
Eww! Awesome! Just like a car wreck, you can't stop looking at this video of defender Wilfred Bouma injuring his leg during a game against Odense BK. Football is a tough sport across the pond! Reports indicate that he dislocated his ankle and successfully underwent surgery to put it back in place. He'll probably be able to play again in the next six months to a year. Play hard or go home! Kansas Man Survives Nail in Skull

Eight Bells is Euthanized After Coming in Second at the Kentucky Derby
For those of you who missed the Kentucky Derby this weekend, oh wait, that's most people, then you don't know that the big deal wasn't that Big Brown won the big race, but that champion horse Eight Bells broke two ankles during the race and had to be euthanized. Two broken ankles and she came in second? What a horse.

Dancing With the Stars Cristian de la Fuente Hurts Arm During Show
Dancing pro Cheryl Burke must have worked Cristian to the bone during rehearsal because during their live dance of the samba Cristian appears to severely pull an arm muscle at about 1:20 into the video. No dramatic fall or twist that explains his injury but hey, what do we know.

Patrick Swayze is Diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer
Does Patrick Swayze only have 5 weeks to live? This kinda sounded like a crazy story from the National Enquirer but it turns out that the early 1990's heartthrob from Dirty Dancing and Ghost is suffering from pancreatic cancer, one of the most deadly cancers. Patients only have a 5% chance of living past 5 years after their diagnosis. Yikes! His publicist says reports of his prognosis are exaggerated and he is well enough to continue working on projects.

We know nothing about the reporter in this clip but according to the description, his legs were crushed when he failed to get out of the way of an out of control car. Yikes! Gerald Henderson Breaks Tyler Hansbrough's Nose
North Carolina's men's basketball team celebrated their win over Duke this weekend. But instead of focusing on the win over the Blue Devils, everyone was talking about the elbow to Tyler Hansbrough's nose, with what some are calling a 'cheap shot' from Duke's Gerald Henderon after a rebound shuffle. Hansbrough emerged with a bloody and broken nose. Here's what ESPN.com had to say:Hansbrough had his nose broken after pulling down the rebound of his own missed free throw and going back up for a layup. Henderson leaped to block the shot and after the ball left Hansbrough's hand, Henderson's right elbow appeared to strike the Tar Heels' center in the nose, sending him crumpling to the ground.
Blood poured down Hansbrough's face and onto his lip, his chin and the court, and he had to be restrained from the Blue Devils as he went to the locker room. Henderson was ejected and received an automatic one-game suspension for Duke's ACC tournament opener against North Carolina State.
