Knife Weilding Man Jumps on Police Car, Later Run Over by Cops - Dash Cam Video
This is truly amazing video from the dash camera of not one, but two police cars in Nevada, Iowa. Here's more from WHO-TV:Nevada Police officers say they were protecting themselves against a violent man, but the man's family believes one of the officers intentionally hit him with his car. Thirty-three-year-old Eric Peterson is in critical condition after being hit by a police car Friday night.
The Nevada Police Department released the in-car video of last Friday's incident. It shows Peterson, armed with a knife, jumping on a police car and then running after it. Moments later, the video shows a second police car hitting Peterson.
Nevada Police Chief Mike Tupper defended his officer's actions, "I'm very saddened this has occurred, but it was not caused by the police officers. The officers were confronted by a very violent and dangerous person who was armed with a dangerous weapon and they had to protect themselves."Labels: police, run over by cops

Car Chase Through Pittsburgh During Rush Hour On Route 28
Looks like John McCleavy and Meghan Jaegar are in a heap of trouble after they allegedly fled from authorities while darting through rush hour traffic Friday following a robbery in Bakersville's National City Bank. Not only was the suspect's vehicle damaged, but so were several police cars. One cruiser flipped over on its roof but landed upright. Hmm...Bruce Willis...is that you?

El Chupacabra Caught on Video in Dewitt County, Texas by Police Officer
We are glad that our tax dollars went towards buying dash cams so police officers can capture arrests, high speed chases, and monsters? Alright, so we don't believe in big foot, the Jersey devil, or the Lochness monster but some coppers in Dewitt County, Texas have some video they say is of the Chupacabra. You know, the dog/vampire thingy that supposedly kills livestock in the southwest and Mexico. The video appears to show what looks like an ugly dog running away from the police. He probably had some unpaid parking tickets. Bummer. What do you think?

9News Captures Video of Denver Police Beating John Heaney Outside Coors Field
Some crappy police officers around the country have been making the force look bad lately. This one is pretty crazy because the man, John Heaney, was facing assault charges stemming from this encounter with police until 9news obtained video of the assault that occurred during his arrest. On the video, which was shot outside Coors Field on the home opener of the Colorado Rockies game on April 4,2008 undercover Denver Police detectives hit, kick and choked him.

NYC Officer Patrick Pogan Stripped of Badge and Gun After Tackling Bicyclist During Time Square Demonstration
New York City Officer Patrick Pogan has some explaining to do! In this video, the 22 year old officer is shown body checking bicyclist Christopher Long during a protest in Times Square called the Critical Mass Ride. To add insult to injury, Long was arrested right after being hit off his bike for attempted assault in the third degree, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. The officer claims that Long purposely swerved his bicycle to block traffic and then using it as a weapon to run down the officer, knocking him off his feet and causing a "laceration" on his forearm. Fathers Group F4J UK Storms the Lincoln Monument
We don't know anything about fathers group F4J UK but they seem to have a lot of balls...metaphorically speaking. In this video, you can see two people climb the Lincoln Monument in Washington D.C. to try to bring attention to their cause. The video is nearly 8 minutes long and for a monument of one of our greatest presidents, the security seem to take their time arriving. Hmm...probably still not a good idea kids.

Cop Dressed as 'Leprechaun' Tickets Speeding Drivers - St. Patrick's Day in Orange County sheriff's deputy
And a Happy Saint Patrick's Day to you, too, officer! Here's more on the story from LiveLeak:Speeding and aggressive drivers in Orange County needed more than the luck of the Irish to avoid a traffic citation on Thursday.
An Orange County sheriff's deputy dressed as a leprechaun and equipped with a laser speed-detection gun targeted speeding and reckless motorists in the area of University Boulevard and state Road 417.
The "leprechaun" also held a sign reading, "Watch your speed or it will cost you your pot of gold."
Motorcycle units stopped violators and issued the traffic citations after being informed by the "leprechaun" via radio. Officials said they issued about a ticket per minute.
A lot of the drivers complained about the method, calling it entrapment
"I think that's just ridiculous," a deputy said. "The (leprechaun) didn't force anybody to speed."
Orange County sheriff's deputies said the laser gun enabled the on-duty "leprechaun" to clock a vehicle long before the driver would see him.
In the past, Orange County sheriff's deputies have targeted speeding motorists while dressed as an elf, the Grinch and a man waiting for a bus.

Some are calling it the "Highway Miracle" and after seeing the clip, you'll probably agree! Here's more from TV station WCPO:Police say a FedEx truck with a double-trailer was one of the vehicles involved in the wreck which took place in the northbound lanes near the I-275 interchange. An Erlanger police cruiser and at least seven other vehicles got caught up in the accident. In the video, the FedEx truck slams into a red vehicle and then spins the police cruiser in a complete circle.
