Sally Field's Uncensored Emmy Acceptance Speech
The Fox censors got a bit trigger happy when cutting away from presenters and winners at Sunday's Emmy awards. Sally Field's acceptance speech was cut when she said "God damn war." Allegedly, that phrase may not even be on the list of items required to be bleeped by the FCC. But they didn't even bleep her! They just cut to a shot of the ceiling. Really? As if Ryan Seacrest as host wasn't already a sign of bad judgment. I doubt they'll be winning any awards for this broadcast. Those Canadians didn't wimp out though.
